Band A. Annualised teaching hours: including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends). Permanent, flexible fractional. Associate Lecturer Scales 1 - 4, £25,372 - £29,942 per annum, pro rata. Main Grade Scales 1 - UP1, £32,304 - £46,432 per annum, pro rata (for qualified lecturers). NPTC Group of Colleges - To be based at Newtown College.
About you: Our ideal applicant will have a teaching qualification (training provided), along with a level 6 qualification (degree or equivalent) in the subject area, have relevant experience. Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English are also required (GCSE or equivalent). With the impact the digital world is having on teaching and learning candidates will also need to be IT literate to at least level 2. Experience of working with a range of software is essential.

Sickness benefits here are generous, and staff are also provided with free access to independent occupational health, the Employee Support Helpline, a 24-hour life management and personal support helpline. The College also employs a dedicated Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinator, who provides support and organises very popular events across the Group, as well as providing access to a variety of free wellbeing resources. There is free car parking at all of our main colleges as well as bike storage, and if you are based in the South we can also offer a 10% discount at the Lilliput Day Nursery in Neath.
