We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Officer: Safety, Health and Environmental to support the delivery of a sector-leading safety culture across NPTC Group of Colleges. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional to play a key role in ensuring statutory compliance, promoting best practice, and supporting the wellbeing of staff, learners and visitors.
Scale SO1, Points 32 - 34, £38,325 - £40,266 per annum. 37 hours per week (including evening work and occasional early mornings and weekends). Contract: Permanent, full time.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have a Level 6 qualification (Degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and relevant experience. You should also be IT literate equivalent to level 2 and hold level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent). Extensive knowledge of health and safety and environmental procedures and working practices are essential.
