Scale 2, Points 14-16, £25,949 - £25,949 per annum, pro rata, equivalent to £15,779 per annum. 22.5 hours per week (including evening work and occasional early mornings and weekends). NPTC Group of Colleges - To be based at Afan College (to also provide support to Llandarcy Academy of Sport).
About you
Our ideal candidate will have a Level 2 qualification (NVQ or equivalent) in relevant discipline and have relevant experience. You should also hold level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT literate to level 2 (with working knowledge of using MS Word and Excel). You should have the ability to communicate in Welsh at a basic level.

Sickness benefits here are generous, and staff are also provided with free access to independent occupational health, the Employee Support Helpline, a 24‑hour life management and personal support helpline. The College also employs a dedicated Health and Wellbeing Co‑ordinator, who provides support and organises very popular events across the Group, as well as providing access to a variety of free wellbeing resources.
There is free car parking at all of our main colleges as well as bike storage, and If you are based in the South we can also offer a 10% discount at the Lilliput Day Nursery in Neath.
The College is an educator and as such we actively promote and encourage Continuous Professional Development for all of our staff; we may even be able to contribute to the fees for higher degrees and other qualifications helpful to your job.
