Band B. Annualised hours: 552.9 - 677 (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends). Permanent, flexible fractional.

About you: Ideally you should possess a level 6 qualification (Degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, have relevant experience and hold a teaching qualification (training provided). You should also hold a level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT literate equivalent to level 2. Assessor/Verifier Awards would be advantageous.

You have 46 days per year of holiday, and as we close the College for up to 5 days over Christmas, this means up to an additional 5 days of leave. With the 8 days of public/bank holidays on top of this, you could benefit from 59 days of annual leave as a Lecturer. This is work-life balance!

We have a range of potential flexible working options available including sabbatical leave and job share, where it meets the needs of the College. Sickness benefits here are generous, and staff are also provided with free access to independent occupational health, the Employee Support Helpline, a 24-hour life management and personal support helpline. The College also employs a dedicated Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinator, who provides support and organises very popular events across the Group, as well as providing access to a variety of free wellbeing resources. There is free car parking at all of our main colleges as well as bike storage, and if you are based in the South we can also offer a 10% discount at the Lilliput Day Nursery in Neath.
