We are currently looking for one Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving Council vehicles which provide safe and secure transport provision for some of the most vulnerable service users in Neath Port Talbot. The main duties of the post are to transport service users to and from complex needs day centres around the Neath Port Talbot County Borough along with driving and assisting on activities and helping with tasks within the centres.

You will have experience in/of:

  • Experience of working with adults/children with a disability
  • Experience of working in a transport environment

Ideally you will have:

  • Full Clean Driving Licence with Category D1 (101) and willingness to undertake full category D or D1 PCV licence driving test (if not already a holder of this licence)
  • Minimum of four GCSE or equivalent
  • Good geographical knowledge of the area
