The Governing Body of Blaendulais Primary School is looking to appoint an Office Clerk. The appointed person must possess strong organisational, communication and IT skills, be professional, hard‑working and able to organise and multi‑task in a very busy office. Attention to detail ensuring the highest level of record management and financial management is essential.

Working Hours

Full Time Temporary (in the first instance) – 5 days a week, starting at 8:00am and finishing at 3:30pm with a 1-hour break throughout the day. Start date 1st September 2026 once relevant checks are complete.

Clerk to Governors Responsibilities

An additional annual allowance of £300 will be paid for these duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide an efficient office service while working under pressure, remaining calm, meeting deadlines, ensuring discretion and coping with demands and interruptions.
  • Record management and financial management duties requiring high attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong organisational, communication and IT skills.
  • Experience in a busy office or school office environment.
  • Familiarity with SIMS, VISION/I‑TRENT, CITRUS, WORD, OUTLOOK, EXCEL and ORACLE is a huge advantage but not essential.
