We are currently looking for a Service Support Officer to join Team NPT. The successful candidate will support the Finance Officer by undertaking financial and administrative duties and to assist Senior Management in the effective and efficient delivery of the Catering and Cleaning Services in Primary and Special Schools.
The post will involve working in a busy environment and will also include responsibility for the Catering Oracle food ordering system, provide an Exchequer function for payment of the Council\’s Creditors, processing of invoices in accordance with Financial Regulations, support the Finance Officer and Service Managers with any aspect of data input to ensure accurate recording and assist in the day‑to‑day management of services.
Experience in an administrative or financial background and data input using spreadsheets is required. Working within a team environment and maintaining high standards is essential.
The successful candidate must be proficient in the use of computer systems, have excellent communication skills, and have the ability to organise and prioritise workload in a busy working environment to meet deadlines.
Applicants should have good knowledge of Local Government finance systems and 4 GCSEs grade A to C (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
