Responsibilities
- Support the Financial Officer by undertaking financial and administrative duties and assist Senior Management in the effective and efficient delivery of the Catering and Cleaning Services in Primary and Special Schools.
- Work in a busy environment and be responsible for the Catering Oracle food ordering system.
- Provide an Exchequer function for payment of the Council’s creditors and processing of invoices in accordance with Financial Regulations.
- Support the Finance Officer and Service Managers with data input to ensure accurate recording and assist in day-to-day management of services.
- Input data to high standards and in a timely manner; work within a team environment.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience in administrative or financial background and data input using spreadsheets.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload in a busy working environment to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of computer systems and excellent communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Local Government finance systems and 4 GCSEs grade A–C (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
