NPT Family Lead in Port Talbot

We are currently seeking an experienced, creative and motivated individual to join our team as the NPT Family Lead. This is an exciting new leadership role within Early Years and Partnerships, responsible for developing and promoting high-quality early intervention information, advice and guidance for children, young people and families across Neath Port Talbot.

As NPT Family Lead, you will provide operational leadership for a team delivering information, outreach and engagement activities. You will ensure families can access timely, accurate and accessible information across digital platforms, social media, websites, community events and direct engagement with families and local services. You will work alongside other early intervention services to strengthen links between families and support, promote wellbeing and improve access to early help.

Your daily routine will include:

• Leading and supervising the NPT Family Team.
• Developing and implementing communications, marketing and community engagement plans to maximise reach and awareness.
• Overseeing social media, digital content, websites, newsletters, community events and other promotional activity.
• Monitoring engagement, feedback and performance information to improve the quality and impact of information provision.
• Working alongside other early intervention services to ensure information, advice and support is coordinated and accessible.

About you: Do you have:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with a creative, proactive and collaborative approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Knowledge and understanding of early intervention, family support services and issues affecting children, young people and families.
• Experience of supervising or managing others and supporting staff development.
• Experience of managing digital platforms, social media, content creation and outreach activity.
• Proven experience of developing and implementing communication and engagement strategies.
• Experience in brand marketing, communications, public relations or community engagement.

We would welcome those with experience in the following roles: Marketing Manager, Communications Manager, Community Engagement Manager or similar leadership roles involving communications, community engagement and staff supervision.
