Working Style: Your workstyle in this role will require you to work from a fixed workplace.

An opportunity has arisen for an Accountancy Apprentice within the Finance Division of the Council. The role of the apprentice is to join the existing teams, learn new skills and gather valuable experience in the world of work. As part of the Apprenticeship, you will work toward the AAT qualification in Accounting Level 2 & 3.

We would like you to demonstrate a commitment to learning and consider it desirable for you to have five GCSE A to C to include English/Welsh and Maths, or equivalent. Being able to effectively travel to the Civic Centre is essential.

Office working hours are 8.30-5.00pm Monday-Thursday and 8.30-4.30pm on Friday; however, the Council operates a flexi-time system around these times. The position requires attendance in the office on two set days each week.
