We are currently seeking an experienced and values-led individual to join the Early Intervention & Partnerships Team as an Early Intervention Lead. This is a new post within a developing early intervention offer for children, young people and families in Neath Port Talbot. You will help shape, lead and support a new team delivering family-centred interventions, working closely with other early intervention and prevention services to provide joined-up support for families.
As Early Intervention Lead, you will lead, motivate and support a team of Early Intervention Key Workers to deliver high-quality support that is responsive to the needs and priorities of families. You will provide day-to-day supervision, monitor service delivery, support best practice and contribute to service development, quality assurance and reporting.
Your daily routine will include:
- Providing supervision, guidance and support to Early Intervention Key Workers.
- Overseeing referrals, support plans and the timely delivery of interventions for families.
- Monitoring outcomes, safeguarding practice and service delivery standards.
- Working alongside other early intervention services and partner organisations to ensure coordinated support.
- Supporting team meetings, reflective practice, training and professional development.
- Contributing to evaluation, reporting and continuous improvement of the service.
About you:
Do you have:
- A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience, and a supervision or management qualification at level 3 or above.
- The ability to work collaboratively with families, partners and other services to achieve positive, sustainable outcomes.
- The ability to motivate, mentor and support staff through one-to-one supervision, group supervision, team meetings and reflective practice.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, plan work and meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge of safeguarding, equality and diversity principles, and the ability to apply relevant policies and legislation in practice.
- Significant practical experience of working with children, young people and families, including families with multiple or complex needs.
- Experience of supervising or managing a support team within a social care, family support or early intervention setting.
