We are currently seeking a Cynnydd YouthEngagement Worker to join our team.
The successful candidate will beresponsible for working with children and young people to improve their engagement in education. They will hold a caseload, plan,facilitate, monitor and evaluate a range of interventions tosupport the needs of children and young people in astrengths-based person-centred approach.
This project is funded by the UK governmentthrough the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. A full time until 31stMarch 2026
This post will target children and youngpeople most at risk of disengagement from education andtherefore, by association, be at the highest risk of becoming notin education, employment of training (NEET).
You will have experience in/of;
Engaging with young people in order tobuild positive relationships in a school setting. You will haveexperience of delivering a range of interventions in order toaddress areas of concern, linked to disengagement and behaviouralneeds.
You will also have experience of adopting amulti-agency approach in order to best support the young peopleand their families.
