The predicted salary is between 31022 - 33699 £ per year.
The Community Employment Mentor will support the development and delivery of the Communities for Work Programme to support people and remove any barriers to return to work. The Mentor will manage a caseload of customers and work with individuals to help them gain skills and overcome barriers to the workplace.
The main duties of the post include:
- Highly motivated
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of inter-agency working and working with communities and individuals
- Project development, monitoring and evaluation
- Organisational skills
About you:
- Experience of providing support and mentoring either in an employment based or similar intensive support service
- Experience of working with customers who are experiencing poverty and barriers to employment
- Experience of joint working with statutory and voluntary agencies
- Experience of working with hard to reach customers with multiple needs
Ideally you will have:
- 4 GCSE’s grades C or above, or a comparable qualification (e.g. Intermediate GNVQ Level 2, BTEC First Certificate, NVQ Level 2)
