The Trailblazer Programme is an ambitious,multi-agency initiative led by Neath Port Talbot Council toreduce economic inactivity and improve wellbeing across ourcommunities. We\’re currently delivering innovative projects inour Opportunity Hubs and outreach locations, working alongsidehealth professionals, training providers, and employers to helppeople overcome complex barriers to work. From supportingresidents with mental health and long-term health conditions, totackling digital exclusion, housing instability, and lowconfidence, we\’re at the forefront of creating tailored,life-changing solutions that make a genuine difference inpeople\’s lives.

As a BusinessCoordinator you will:
- Lead employer engagement activity acrossNeath Port Talbot, creating inclusive and sustainableemployment pathways
- Work strategically with employers,partners, and industry leaders to co-produce opportunities forindividuals facing significant barriers
- Oversee the delivery of employmentaspects of the Trailblazer programme, ensuring alignment withlocal labour market priorities
- Support businesses to embed inclusiverecruitment and workplace practices, including reasonableadjustments
- Provide leadership to the team, ensuringemployer engagement activity is consistent, impactful, andoutcome-focused
Your dailyroutine will to:
- Develop and maintain strategicrelationships with employers and partners
- Coordinate employer engagement activity,toolkits, and inclusive recruitment resources
- Monitor and evaluate projectperformance, using data to inform improvements
- Support the team in aligning employmentactivity with regional economic needs
- Represent NPT at external events,forums, and partnership meetings.
- Provide line management and mentoringsupport to staff
Aboutyou:
- Substantial experience inemployment-related programmes and employer engagement?
- A strong track record in projectmanagement and partnership working?
- Knowledge of the Equality Act 2010 andinclusive employment practices?
