The right PLC Engineer will support the site's maintenance team (Controls/Technically) within a purpose-built, site-based automation environment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- To support the PLC technical repairs
- Prioritise system faults
- Error management
- Technical fault management, controller and communications to the wider network, adhering to agreed communication and fault management processes
- Identifying any process failures and escalating as required
- Targeting maintenance activities as identified via the EIS / SCADA data analysis
- Root-cause analysis of faults using industry-recognised tools
- Rectification and prevention of issues
Experience with: Siemens S7, ProfNet, Profibus, and Ladder
Qualifications: ONC-HNC-HND qualified engineering, OR BSc, or MSc; Electrical control system experience; Site-Based FMCG works/experiences.
