Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Operative, The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to loading, unloading and stock control. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Monday -Friday (9 am-5 pm) Benefits: Warehouse Operative * Company pension * Cycle to work scheme * Life insurance x 4 salary * On-site parking * Private medical insurance (after 6 months) * Sick pay Duties: Warehouse Operative * Responsible for purchasing stock for the warehouse and for programmed work, which may require delivery of material to site * Responsibility for stock takes and stock control, which includes reporting * Support the Goods In/Out from site * Complete the Pre-Receipt Manifesting of Consignments * Quality Assurance Checks, recording and reporting damages * Data input into the Warehouse Management System * Work in partnership with the Quality Manager to ensure that all health & safety processes are adhered to * Work with Head of Operations, Quality Manager, Operations Scheduler and the rest of the new build division to hit internal and external KPI’s * Previous experience in using basic hand tools. * Ideally, FLT Counterbalance (Training and qualification will be supported for the right person) Qualifications: Warehouse Operative * Previous experience in a warehouse setting is highly desirable * Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating equipment safely and efficiently * Valid forklift certification is preferred but not essential; training may be provided * Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently when required
