An excellent opportunity for a PLC Control Engineer to join a leading global engineering automation business, offering full training & support. Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm DAYS.

The right PLC Control Engineer will support the site's maintenance team (Controls/Technically) within a purpose-built, site-based automation environment.

  • To support the PLC technical repairs
  • Prioritise system faults
  • Error management
  • Technical fault management, controller and communications to the wider network
  • Adhering to agreed communication and fault management processes
  • Identifying any process failures and escalating as required
  • Targeting maintenance activities as identified via the EIS / SCADA data analysis
  • Root-cause analysis of faults using industry-recognised tools
  • Rectification and prevention of issues

Qualifications:

  • ONC-HNC-HND qualified engineering, OR BSc, or MSc
  • Electrical control system experience
  • Site-Based FMCG works/experiences
