Responsibilities

  • Work experience in a manufacturing, production, or FMCG automation environment.
  • Basic work within an electrical or mechanical environment.
  • Carry out an initial response to our automation equipment.
  • Prioritise basic system faults.
  • Support and assist Engineers with equipment servicing.
  • Compliant with Health & Safety legislation.
  • Assist with the resolution of any equipment faults – Mechanical/Electrical.
  • The Maintenance Assistant will support the continual improvement of the site.

Knowledge

  • Ability to read and understand basic drawings and instructions.
  • Have a logical approach to fault-finding and resolution.

Qualifications

  • NVQ or Apprenticeship in engineering, mechanical, or electrical.
