The Maintenance Assistant will:

  • Have work experience in a manufacturing, production, or FMCG automation environment.
  • Perform basic work within an electrical or mechanical environment.
  • Carry out an initial response to our automation equipment.
  • Prioritise basic system faults.
  • Support and assist Engineers with equipment servicing.
  • Be compliant with Health Mechanical/Electrical regulations.
  • Support the continual improvement of the site.

Knowledge required:

  • Ability to read and understand basic drawings and instructions.
  • Have a logical approach to fault-finding and resolution.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ 2 or 3 or Apprenticeship in engineering, mechanical, or electrical.
