The right Maintenance Shift Manager will support the maintenance shift team within a site-based environment while leading a team including a shift supervisor/leader, skilled maintenance engineers, maintenance assistant engineers, plus Jam busters.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the shift team in day-to-day activities
- Lead while managing customer expectations
- Ensure that all the site equipment and machinery are maintained and repaired within the agreed scope
- Ensuring delivery to always achieve KPI targets
- Undertake AMHE equipment servicing to the quality standards and time schedules set
- Compliance with Health & Safety legislation always
- Always looking for continuous improvement and enhancement opportunities
- Ensure spares are kept to the levels required
- Ensure the delivery team processes:
- Team and individual attendance
- Staff discipline
- Staff development is identified through appraisal
Fully interact with other engineering team leaders to ensure shift consistency while sharing best practices.
Qualifications:
- ONC, HNC, HND, BSC, or MSC in engineering
- Understanding of PLC equipment
