Role & Responsibilities:

  • To support the shift manager in leading the shift team
  • Demonstrate leadership and communication skills
  • To lead and support a maintenance team (electrical/mechanical)
  • To support, as required, scheduled repairs according to the manufacturer's recommendations
  • To support the diagnosis of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic faults
  • To accurately record all work undertaken
  • Continuous improvement and enhancement opportunities
  • Adherence to the Quality processes and procedures
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills

Qualifications:

  • ONC OR HNC in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, or BTEC Engineering, or Engineering Apprenticeship or BSc or MSc
  • Experience in previously managing a team is desirable
  • A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, & Electronic technical manuals & drawings
  • Basic knowledge of PLC equipment
