Job Purpose

The E.ON I&C Pillar combines the current npower Business Solutions & E.ON B2B businesses to create a new £5 billion revenue business serving approximately 60,000 customers and around 300,000 meter points with a view to becoming the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK. The Digital Technology & Change organisation is the integration consisting of Change Management, Digital Data and Technology & Partner and Service Management functions to provide Change & IT services to the E.ON I&C business.

A key member of the technical team to assure and optimise the nBS data management capabilities, the Data Engineer is responsible for building, deploying and supporting effective data delivery solutions, interfaces, infrastructure, MI and reporting. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, delivery and performance of class-leading MI and reporting using expert tooling and techniques. The role holder will be responsible for delivering consolidated business data, data optimisation, value-add analytics, data quality management tooling and senior level reporting across nBS – thus enabling nBS to leverage the greatest value possible from its data. The Data Engineer will be a strong advocate for data as the organisation's #1 asset.
