We are looking for a VP/Director of Growth to be responsible for the entire customer journey — from education and awareness through to loyalty and referral. This is a leadership role with ownership of strategy, execution, and a team of ~7 across marketing and BDR. The role includes significant equity in an early-stage, top Google Ventures-backed startup and a seat on the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy, execution, and a team of ~7 across marketing and BDR, owning the growth program end-to-end.
- Build a programmatic, measurable pipeline engine on top of initiatives across ABM, events, content, and outbound.
- Own systems and cadences to ensure every channel and campaign yields maximum value from the ICP of Enterprise Accounts.
- Directly manage four Business Development Representatives, coaching them to consistent performance; their performance is your performance.
- Conductor for marketing leads, partnering with Product and Sales for successful conversion; report to the CEO and sit on the SLT.
What We’re Looking For
We’re excited to hear from people who are motivated by ownership, operational discipline, and building systems where none exist.
For This Role, We’re Looking For Someone With
- 5–8+ years in demand generation, growth marketing, or pipeline-focused marketing roles in B2B SaaS.
- Enterprise GTM experience with 12–18+ month sales cycles; experience where pipeline is measured in quarters and ABM matters more than volume.
- Strong customer orientation and ability to understand needs, challenges, and channels to reach them.
- Track record of building process and rigor where none existed; not suited for only mature, established demand-gen functions.
- Strong data orientation: dashboards, KPIs, attribution analysis, and data-driven prioritization.
- Comfort with a small SAM and niche markets; precision campaigns against a defined set of accounts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail (demonstrated by mentioning the word “crane” in your application).
Nice to Have
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or built-environment industries.
- Familiarity with AI/ML products and marketing technical capabilities to non-technical buyers.
- Experience expanding ICP into adjacent segments.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive compensation along with generous equity.
- London office with flexible collaboration options.
- Uncapped holiday, private medical insurance, personal learning and development budget, enhanced family and sick leave, and more.
- Room to grow as we scale; approaching 50 people.
Values: Learn from Everything. Be Radically Truthful. Aim High, Run Fast.
Our Culture
We’re a curious, diverse, and mission-driven team united by the belief that better data can change how the world builds. We value openness, honesty, and diversity of thought and expect collaboration and balance, with ample social opportunities.
Accessibility & Inclusion
We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If you need adjustments during the hiring process, please let us know.
Application Process
Once you’ve applied, you will hear from us within a week. This is a senior leadership role; we will invest time to understand your background, approach to critical decisions, fit with the SLT, and how you would deliver against priorities. The interview process will combine conversations and a case study with SLT and Growth team members. We aim to move quickly and plan to fill this role within the next 2–3 months.
