OTE: £40,000-45,000 + up to £15,000 commission

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing UK sales team.

Summary

As the first BDR in the region, you will lead strategic growth campaigns while working with our experienced Account Directors. Earn up to £60,000 per year (up to £45k base + £15k commission). By utilising nPlan’s technology, our clients can change the way major construction projects are planned and delivered like never before. nPlan has established a strong foothold across the UK & Europe, and after recent investment, are looking to grow our team and continue this exciting pace of growth. You’ll be joining a world-class and well-funded company, with the opportunity to collaborate across multiple teams. As the first point of contact to the market, the insights you gather will be crucial in helping our Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Commercial teams learn and improve. You could have a real impact on the growth and product development of nPlan from day one!

What it takes to succeed

As a breakthrough product, introducing new concepts to a market can be tricky. So to succeed in this role, you will need to:

  • Have grit: Not every call will be easy, but a good BDR knows that patience and persistence can pay off.
  • Think creatively: Getting through to clients is harder than ever. Can you think outside the box, leverage market intelligence, identify, and contact a prospect with a compelling message?
  • Communicate complex ideas: Understanding the power of AI is not easy for everyone. Can you break through the complexity to show our clients nPlan’s true value?

About you

Because nPlan is not your usual 50-calls-a-day sales team, and the fact that you’ll be working with your own initiative, we’ll need this person to:

  • Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in business development or sales development in Enterprise B2B SaaS technology.
  • Learn quickly and adapt to new challenges and expectations.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, the latter evidenced through your questionnaire response.
  • Have a desire to learn and improve, and the commitment to follow through.
  • Have strong experience with sales tech stack.
  • Align with our values - Aim High & Run Fast, Be Radically Truthful and Learn from Everything.
