We currently have an exciting opportunity for a French Sales Executive in London. Are you fluent in French and English? Do you have previous B2B sales experience? Are you interested in working in the events & exhibition industry? If yes, read on!

Our client runs many market-leading business exhibitions in the learning, healthcare, technology, and veterinary sectors, with events in the UK, Europe, USA, and Asia. They are looking for an experienced Sales Executive with a positive and confident attitude. They are based in West London and offer a hybrid model of work.

You might already be working in sales, whether in the events industry or other sectors, and have learnt the basics and want to put them into practice and make a difference. You will need to be the type of person who likes working in a fast-paced environment with plenty of opportunities to grow.

The salary is £30,000‑£32,000 plus bonus (£7,000‑£10,000) and the client offers a hybrid model of work.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate sales from new and lapsed businesses and account manage your clients.
  • Manage your daily sales performance and ensure you remain motivated.
  • Assist the senior event team (e.g. Event Director and/or Show Manager) in ensuring sales strategies are created and followed.
  • Work with the senior event team to ensure the financial success of the event by following best practices and introducing sales activities to hit and exceed show targets.
  • Work in partnership with the senior event team, including Marketing and Operations, to ensure the smooth running of the event.
Qualifications:
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Experience in outbound sales (e.g. telesales, media sales or exhibitions background).
  • History of achieving sales targets.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of prospecting and developing relationships with customers.
  • Motivated and ambitious attitude.
  • Organised individual.
  • Enjoys working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
