We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Pre-Sales Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as the technical lead in the sales process, partnering closely with account executives and clients to understand business requirements, deliver product demonstrations, and architect compelling solutions.
You’ll be the bridge between sales and engineering, providing deep product expertise and translating technical features into business benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to drive sales growth through tailored solution presentations.
Deliver high-impact product demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to prospective clients.
Understand customer needs and challenges; propose technical solutions that align with their business goals.
Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical queries from customers.
Assist in onboarding and training of clients during trial or pilot phases.
Provide feedback to the Product and Engineering teams based on customer insights.
Participate in industry events, webinars, and trade shows to support business development efforts.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consultant, or similar client-facing technical role.
Strong background in (DevOps, Cloud, Cybersecurity, SaaS, or relevant domain).
Hands-on experience with tools like (AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Git, Terraform, etc.).
Excellent communication and presentation skills – both technical and business-focused.
Ability to explain complex technical topics in simple terms.
Experience in designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
Proven track record of supporting successful sales cycles.
Nice to Have
Experience working with open source technologies or selling into enterprise accounts.
Fluency in additional languages (depending on region).
Background in software engineering or system administration.
