Our client is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their diverse and inclusive team. You will become part of a small, fast-paced, agile delivery team, using agile methodologies and DevOps techniques to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting UK Government and Defence customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft technical Statements of Requirements for cloud-native applications and platform solutions.
  • Define and assess technical architectures and solutions.
  • Define technical and business requirements.
  • Produce high- and low-level technical designs.
  • Develop high-level operating model designs.
  • Define security controls and architecture following cloud and application security best practices.
  • Define and select DevOps pipelines, processes, and tools.
  • Recommend coding languages, testing strategies, and development tools.
  • Define tools and practices to monitor and support cloud applications.
  • Define service management practices and processes.
  • Architect and support delivery of on-premise virtualization solutions (VMware ESX, vCenter).
  • Architect and support IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS public cloud solutions (AWS & Azure).
  • Develop and maintain technical architecture documentation to support security and accreditation.
