This is a senior, hands‑on role where you’ll shape enterprise data architecture strategy, standards and governance across complex environments. You’ll design future‑ready data platforms that enable AI, advanced analytics, automation and smarter decision‑making. Regular travel to London will be required.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Acting as the Data Architecture SME across multiple programmes
- Defining and owning data architecture strategy, standards and governance
- Leading platform modernisation and transformation initiatives
- Designing secure, scalable data models and integration architectures
- Collaborating with engineering, analytics and business stakeholders
- Driving data governance, ethics and interoperability best practice
- Supporting adoption of AI/ML‑ready platforms and emerging technologies
- Producing high‑quality architecture documentation and artefacts
About You:
You’re an experienced Data Architect who thrives in complex, evolving environments and enjoys shaping strategy as much as delivering hands‑on solutions.
You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in a senior Data Architect role
- Strong knowledge of relational, NoSQL and cloud data architectures
- Experience modernising enterprise data platforms
- Understanding of data standards & interoperability
- Data governance, ethics & compliance
- Secure data sharing
- Data analytics & visualisation
- Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP and modern data tooling
- Scripting and automation capability
