Our client is a well-established and fast-growing Employee Benefits and Risk Management brokerage located on the Nassau-Suffolk Border. They are seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager / Specialist to join their team. The position currently is full time in an office.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all renewals are properly handled and processed in a timely manner.
- Service employee benefits accounts including voluntary benefits.
- Focus on small-mid size groups ranging from 10-1,000 participants.
- Address all client questions regarding their policies and serve as their advocate with appropriate insurers.
- Visit clients as needed.
Competitive base salary with opportunity to earn commissions and bonus. Solid benefits and the company does provide a stipend towards their insurance plan.
Qualifications:
- New York State Life and Health License.
- Candidate should have a minimum 3 years’ experience in client and employee advocacy and customer service.
- Prior experience working with an Independent Brokerage or Agency.
- College Degree Preferred, not required.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Computer literacy and eagerness to learn.
