Our client, centrally located in London and conveniently situated within a 5-10 minute walk of Buckingham Palace, is seeking to recruit a dedicated individual to join their team. The firm focuses on multiple areas of law including Financial, Corporate, Property, and Private Client matters.

Experience

The client will consider applications from qualified solicitors with a minimum of 5 years demonstrable PQE. The working arrangement offers flexibility, with the option to work 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely from home. Additionally, employees can benefit from a travel loan, private medical insurance, and death in service benefits. Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on a range of private client matters, including wills, probate, estate planning, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as wills, executors’ documents, deeds of variation, and estate administration forms.
  • Assist clients in the preparation of tax planning strategies to minimise inheritance tax liabilities.
  • Manage and administer estates, including obtaining grants of probate, collecting assets, paying debts, and distributing inheritances.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings related to contested wills, probate disputes, and trust litigation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed client records, ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulations affecting private client law, and update clients accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates and communicating effectively throughout the legal process.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals, such as tax advisors and financial planners, to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
  • Attend networking events and seminars to expand professional knowledge and build a strong reputation in the private client law sector.
