Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with conflict checks, file management, and client care protocols.
- Progress cases, attend clients, and prepare for hearings per instructions.
- Advocate for clients in Court of Protection hearings.
- Handle correspondence, Legal Aid funding, billing, and file preparation.
- Manage file closing, administration, time recording, and regulatory compliance.
- Meet billing targets, support junior staff, and ensure timely invoicing.
- Participate in networking, business development, and training per Legal Aid requirements.
- Ensure files comply with Legal Aid contracts, SQM standards, and firm policies.
- Report issues to directors promptly.
- Focus on health and welfare matters as needed.
About You
Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate. 0-2 PQE (Applications from recently qualified solicitors will be accepted).
