About The Client
Our client is a well‑established and highly regarded law firm based in East Sussex. Over the past decade, it has expanded to multiple offices and now has a team of approximately 100 members, delivering a comprehensive range of legal services tailored to the needs of individuals, families, and businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling daily accounts post and distributing to relevant staff.
- Downloading and reconciling daily bank statements for Client and Business accounts.
- Monitoring and processing electronic payments (CHAPS, BACs, FPC).
- Allocating and posting incoming receipts and managing out‑of‑date cheques.
- Preparing and processing Client and Business transactions, including credits, cheques, and foreign payments.
- Maintaining Client ledgers, ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules.
- Supporting fee earners with CHAPS and electronic transactions as needed.
- General administrative duties, including filing, petty cash management, and end‑of‑day reports.
