Key Responsibilities
- Meet clients to assess needs, offer family law advice, and manage expectations.
- Advise and represent in divorce or civil partnership dissolution, including paperwork and settlements.
- Handle financial agreements, asset division, and draft binding orders.
- Advise on custody, visitation, and child arrangement disputes.
- Assist domestic abuse victims with protective measures and liaise with authorities.
- Draft and advise on pre-/post-nuptial and cohabitation agreements.
- Support adoption and surrogacy processes, ensuring legal compliance.
- Promote mediation or ADR and advise on terms to resolve disputes amicably.
- Represent clients in family court, prepare cases, and explain outcomes.
- Stay updated on family law changes and apply knowledge for client benefit.
- Maintain accurate records, comply with SRA standards, and manage billing.
- Ensure ethical handling of client finances and adhere to regulatory standards.
About You
Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate. A Minimum 3 Years PQE within Family.
