We’re looking for a Transport Customs Coordinator to join our Rochester-based team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our global import and export operations—ensuring goods move efficiently, documentation is spot-on, and compliance is never compromised. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a solid understanding of customs processes, we want to hear from you.
The most important tasks, activities and responsibilities are:
- Ensuring all necessary customs clearance processes are implemented and all documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Effectively liaising with customs agents and proactively resolving any issues
- Provide support to the logistics team with administration and data input when necessary
- Creating documents for customs clearance for exports and imports via road and sea
- Monitor current status and progress of all export and import activity
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all customs and transportation documentation.
- The understanding and ability to develop processes to ensure documents conform to country requirements
- Work alongside internal & external stakeholders to ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and internal policies.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and experience in advising relevant stakeholders on compliance requirements.

- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and import/export documentation.
- Experience with freight forwarding, bonded warehouses, and trade compliance procedures is advantageous.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
