About the Role:
As a Quant Developer, you will drive the research, development, and implementation of the execution systems, tackling complex engineering challenges. You\’ll be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining execution infrastructure.
- Enhancing algorithms, diagnosing performance issues, and designing new strategies in real time.
- Owning backend technology and collaborating closely with traders and engineers.
- Working in a 24/7 trading environment, with flexibility to handle unexpected needs in a fast-paced, high-impact role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the research, design, and implementation of low to mid-frequency execution systems.
- Develop and optimize execution algorithms, focusing on market impact in low-liquidity environments.

What you should offer:
- 5 – 10 years of experience in designing execution systems, with a full stack mindset and ownership of your work.
- Experience in discretionary trading environments, such as hedge funds or boutique prop trading firms.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, Kubernetes, Redis, and similar technologies.
- A strong understanding of market impact, execution metrics, and algorithmic performance.
- Experience with exchange APIs and market data connections.
- The ability to write clean, production-quality code with modular design.
- Crypto market experience and familiarity with Google Cloud would be a nice to have but is not essential
