Contract: Data Centre IT Network Engineer
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £420 - 450 a day (inside IR35 determination via umbrella)
Location: Hybrid with 2 days onsite in Cheshire or SE London or Surrey

MUST HAVE IN-DEPTH ARISTA EXPERIENCE AND STRONG VXLAN EVPN SKILLS IN A DATA CENTER NETWORK ENVIRONMENT.
Ideally large banking, telco or enterprise client experience.
Experienced Network Engineer with both Cisco and Arista expertise to work on a large migration project for an IT Organisation, delivering a piece of work for a global bank. This will be migrating Legacy Cisco to Arista network technology. Some weekend work and on-call will be required during migrations/deployments. Must be able to work on site 2 days a week. Some on-call work required (Paid).
Description:
- Experience as a Network Engineer in datacentre environments having delivered migrations.
- Advanced network configuration, Design and implement robust and scalable datacentre network architectures using Cisco and Arista solutions.
- Configure Layer 2/3 networking protocols, VLANs, STP, VxLAN, BGP, OSPF, and EVPN.
- Multicast.
- Experience with multi-vendor environments, spanning both Cisco and Arista technologies.
- Perform day-to-day network administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting in datacentre environments.
