Responsibilities include:
- Completing planned maintenance inspections.
- Planning/delivering corrective and reactive work, ensuring that tools, parts and materials are available and production downtime is minimised.
- Ensuring that all plant and equipment on sites is modified and improved, as necessary, to maximise equipment availability and performance whilst still achieving output levels required to meet production demands.
- Completing dynamic risk assessments where necessary to ensure that safe working practices are upheld and risk reduced.
- Being aware of stock control and maintain shift paperwork to the highest standard, to complete condition reports and other documents defined by the maintenance strategy.
- Undertaking assessments of malfunctioning equipment and provide advice to the site management team to assist and influence decision making.
- Undertaking engineering project work and assist with new installations or refurbishments.
- Updating and administering the Computerised Maintenance Management System.
- Contributing to problem solving workshops, providing engineering expertise to identify root causes of failures and subsequent improvement actions.
- Attending daily operational review meetings, providing updates on Planned Maintenance compliance, live defects and ongoing improvement plans.
What do we expect from you?
- Completed apprenticeship (NVQ Level 2 or 3) in appropriate engineering discipline.
- Possession of HNC, City & Guilds or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Experience in working within a process, production or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of CMMS systems, purpose and functionality.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and safety.

- Salary range 52k per annum depending on your experience.
- Permanent, Full time contract.
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
- Company pension plan, call out payment, 1.5 x overtime pay.
