The Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University seeks two dedicated educators to join our leading edge Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing with over a 100-year history of academic and research excellence. The School is one of seven in a progressive Faculty and offers academic programs in nursing at undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels. A new state-of-the art building for the School opened in January 2017. These are 2-year appointments as Limited-Term faculty members. Compensation and rank will be commensurate with educational qualifications and experience.
The successful candidates will support the continuing evidence-based development and delivery of the Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner (PHCNP) program according to curriculum needs. Responsibilities will include:
- Classroom teaching
- Service to the School, Faculty, University, and profession as appropriate
- Contributing to educational and/or research scholarship to advance evidence in the field (depending on qualifications)
