ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a newly created role to support our growing team. We are looking for a confident, delivery-led Account Director to lead a portfolio of 5 to 6 key client relationships and play a central role in our next phase of growth. This is a senior client role within a specialist agency. You will sit at the heart of your accounts, driving clarity, raising standards and ensuring best-in-class strategic thinking and execution.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead senior stakeholder relationships across 5 to 6 clients and act as the primary strategic point of contact.
  • Join weekly status and strategic calls, while providing clarity and direction across multi-service teams.
  • Maintain consistently high standards of delivery and output and act as escalation point when required.
  • Ensure the teams output and activities match the specifics of the client contract and SLA.
  • Lead difficult client conversations when required, including addressing performance challenges, resetting expectations and steering discussions when requests move beyond agreed scope.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, creating confidence in Yodel Mobile as a long‑term strategic partner.
  • Understand the revenue profile of your accounts and contribute to revenue forecasting alongside senior leadership.
  • Identify cross-service growth opportunities and lead renewals and support contract negotiations.
  • Work with internal teams to shape and scope new initiatives.
  • Maintain accountability for what has been sold versus what is delivered, ensuring work remains aligned to the commercial agreement.
  • Understand the dynamics of agency fees, media investment and delivery costs to help ensure account margins are protected.
  • Build clear and compelling client growth roadmaps.
  • Shape integrated strategies across Paid Media, ASO and Creative and contribute to pitch strategy and narrative when required.
  • Maintain strong awareness of trends across app growth and user acquisition.
  • Develop informed perspectives on how the market is evolving and share learnings.
  • Manage and develop Account Managers and support the progression of junior team members.
  • Work closely with Department Leads to align strategy and execution.
  • Raise the bar in client servicing and internal collaboration.

ABOUT YOU

  • Strong agency experience at Senior Account Manager or Account Director level.
  • Background in Paid Media, Paid Social or User Acquisition.
  • Experience leading senior client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow accounts through upsells and renewals.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and digital strategy.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable challenging clients and internal teams.
