What you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll lead the electrical design process from concept through to detailed design, ensuring systems meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and operational needs. You’ll take ownership of creating specifications, presenting design options, and guiding solutions through the full design lifecycle. You’ll work closely with engineers, project managers, production teams, and customers to translate requirements into validated and verified designs that support efficient manufacturing and through‑life support. You’ll also be a key customer‑facing engineer, able to communicate technical detail with clarity and confidence. Your work will span prototype development, test definition, engineering change control, and supporting the legacy fleet. You’ll play a critical part in ensuring NP Aerospace continues to deliver safe, robust, and innovative solutions across current and future vehicle programmes.
