This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive professional who enjoys working with different stakeholders, solving problems and bringing structure to complex activities. If you're looking to develop your project management career within a specialist engineering and defence business, this could be the opportunity for you.

What you’ll be doing
You'll provide day-to-day project coordination and administrative support to the Senior Project Manager and wider Programmes team, helping ensure activities remain on track and project deliverables are achieved. You'll prepare and maintain project timelines, coordinate tasks, monitor progress and follow up on actions to ensure deadlines are understood and commitments are met. You'll also maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, action logs, risk registers and progress reports.
Working collaboratively with teams across Projects, Development, Design, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations and Sales, you'll help coordinate resources, materials and information throughout the project lifecycle. You'll organise and facilitate meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities, prepare agendas and records, and track agreed actions. You'll also support Change Advisory Boards (CABs) and similar stakeholder meetings, helping ensure changes are documented, communicated and managed effectively.
You'll act as a key point of contact for project updates, helping communicate progress, risks and issues to customers, contractors, senior managers and internal stakeholders. You'll support budget tracking, project reporting and the preparation of clear presentations using Microsoft Office. You may also assist with verification and validation activities, including internal and customer-funded trials, while ensuring project records, governance and compliance requirements are maintained. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help the team deliver successful product launches to cost and schedule.
What we’re looking for
We're looking for a highly organised and detail-focused individual who can coordinate multiple activities, communicate confidently with different stakeholders and keep projects moving forward. You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and producing accurate documentation and reports.
