Noya Motor Group is seeking an experienced and reliable Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our busy workshop team. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs, diagnostics, PDI inspections and general maintenance across a wide range of vehicle makes and models. The role requires a high standard of workmanship, strong diagnostic ability and the capability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
Duties will include:
- Servicing and maintaining vehicles
- Carrying out repairs to braking systems, suspension components, clutches, cambelts and exhaust systems
- Undertaking fault finding and electrical diagnostics where required
- Identifying defects accurately and completing repairs to manufacturer standards
- Ensuring all vehicles are prepared to a high retail standard prior to delivery
- Using diagnostic equipment and workshop systems to identify mechanical and electrical faults
- Maintaining accurate records of all work completed
- Working closely with management and colleagues to ensure vehicles are completed within agreed timescales
Applicants should be confident working independently and as part of a team, with previous experience in a similar role. Experience using AutoData or similar workshop software would be advantageous, although training can be provided where necessary.
A full UK driving licence is required, with no more than six penalty points. An NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City & Guilds qualification, or equivalent industry-recognised qualification would be preferred but is not essential for the right candidate with relevant experience.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm, with every other Saturday required, and a one-hour unpaid lunch break each day.
