About the RoleAs an ICT Support Apprentice, youll be involved in the daily running of IT operations, supporting users and maintaining systems.
This is a varied role where youll gain experience across hardware, software, and system support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working with technology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day technical support across the business
- Assist with diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues
- Support users with system queries and technical problems
- Help set up new users, devices, and access permissions
- Assist with installing and configuring systems and applications
- Support routine maintenance and system updates
- Assist with basic cyber security tasks and data protection processes
- Help ensure systems are secure and compliant with procedures
- Log and track IT support requests
- Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions
- Support documentation of systems and processes
Were looking for someone who is:
- Interested in IT support, systems, or networking
- Organised with a proactive approach to tasks
- A confident communicator who can explain technical issues clearly
- Eager to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems or similar
- Any previous IT-related study or experience
- Full UK driving licence
- A recognised Level 3 ICT qualification
- Hands-on experience in a real IT support environment
- Exposure to a range of systems, tools, and technologies
