About the Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated IT Apprentice to join our growing IT team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and keen to build a career within the IT industry. Working alongside experienced IT professionals, you will gain hands-on experience supporting users, maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and learning about a wide range of technologies including Microsoft 365, networking, cloud services, cyber security, and business applications. As part of the apprenticeship, you will work towards a recognised Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, combining practical workplace experience with structured learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line IT support to users via phone, email, and service desk systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
- Set up and configure laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Assist with user account administration, password resets, and access permissions.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications and cloud-based services.
- Help maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and business systems.
- Follow IT security policies and contribute to maintaining secure systems and data.
- Assist with software installations, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities.
- Document technical procedures, support requests, and solutions.
- Provide users with guidance and basic training on IT systems and applications.
- Support IT projects and system improvements as required.
- Escalate more complex technical issues to senior members of the team when necessary.
