This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience within a professional IT environment while working towards a nationally recognised Level 4 Network Engineer qualification. You'll develop technical expertise, work alongside experienced IT professionals, and build the skills needed for a successful career in networking and infrastructure.

The Role:

As a Network Engineer Apprentice, you'll play a key role in supporting and maintaining the organisation's IT infrastructure. You'll gain exposure to a range of networking technologies and support the delivery of reliable and secure IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
  • Supporting the monitoring and performance of network systems.
  • Troubleshooting network, connectivity, and hardware issues.
  • Assisting with the implementation of network security measures.
  • Supporting user access management and system administration activities.
  • Helping maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
  • Recording, tracking, and resolving IT support tickets.
  • Assisting with network upgrades, projects, and documentation.
  • Working with internal teams and third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensuring IT systems comply with security and operational standards.

Entry Requirements:

  • The right to work in the UK
  • Lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years
  • GCSE English and maths minimum requirement at grade 3 or above (or equivalent)
  • A qualification or part qualification or work experience in a related area at a lower or the same level is also required.
