About the opportunity
Are you organised, detail-oriented and interested in working with data? Do you enjoy working with information, solving problems and learning new digital skills? We're looking for a motivated Data Analyst Apprentice to join a professional and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on workplace experience while working alongside an experienced Data Analyst, developing your skills in data preparation, reporting, database administration and data management. You'll also support the registration of interpreters and translators, helping maintain accurate records and ensuring information is managed efficiently. No previous experience in data analysis is required. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in developing a career in data. What will you be doing?
Data preparation:
Help collect, check, organise and maintain data relating to clients, services, languages, performance and business operations. Reporting and dashboards:
Support the preparation of regular reports and dashboards, helping the team understand business performance. Database administration:
Update and maintain customer and supplier databases, ensuring information is accurate and up to date. Interpreter and translator registration:
Assist with checking information, registering new interpreters and translators, and maintaining their records in line with established requirements. Communication:
Respond professionally to routine enquiries, record relevant information and pass more complex queries to the appropriate colleague. Data accuracy:
Follow established processes, identify inconsistencies and raise any concerns with the in-house Data Analyst. Administrative support:
Help with routine troubleshooting and general team administration when required. Meeting deadlines:
Organise your workload and work towards daily, weekly and monthly deadlines with guidance and support. Learning and development:
Complete your apprenticeship training and assessments, applying your new knowledge and skills in the workplace. You'll receive guidance and supervision throughout your apprenticeship, giving you the opportunity to build confidence and develop your technical and professional skills. What are we looking for?
