About the Role

Are you creative, enthusiastic and interested in marketing? Do you enjoy social media, coming up with new ideas and learning how businesses attract and engage their customers?

We are looking for a motivated Marketing Apprentice to join our team in Southport. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing, develop your creative skills and work towards a recognised qualification while earning a salary.

As a Marketing Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced team members to support a range of marketing activities. From creating engaging content and managing social media to helping with campaigns and researching new marketing opportunities, you'll gain valuable experience across different areas of the industry.

You'll have the opportunity to develop your confidence, learn new skills and contribute your own ideas in a supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the marketing team with day-to-day marketing activities.
• Creating engaging content for social media platforms.
• Helping to plan, schedule and publish social media posts.
• Assisting with the creation of marketing materials, including graphics, blogs and promotional content.
• Supporting marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Researching industry trends, competitors and target audiences.
• Helping to update website content and marketing information.
• Supporting email marketing and customer communications.
• Contributing creative ideas to marketing campaigns and content plans.
• Assisting with the organisation of marketing projects and events.
• Monitoring social media engagement and supporting marketing reports.
• Working collaboratively with the wider team to support business growth.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, creative and keen to develop a career in marketing.

You will ideally have:

• A genuine interest in marketing, social media and content creation.
• A creative mindset and an eye for detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
• A proactive approach to learning and taking on new challenges.
• An interest in current marketing trends and digital technology.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using computers.

Desirable Skills

These are beneficial but not essential:

• Experience using social media platforms.
• Basic knowledge of Canva or other design tools.
• Experience creating social media content, blogs or videos.
• An understanding of marketing or customer engagement.
• Any previous work experience in marketing, retail, customer service or a creative role.

No previous marketing experience is required, just enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to learn!
