As an HR specialist, you will be front and centre of the hotel's cultural identity by coaching, supporting and influencing the leadership team. You will model compassion, fairness and humanity and be at the forefront of creating a culture of trust that enables team members to speak up, feel safe and advocate for others. You will have the courage to challenge and influence the people agenda on property in conjunction with the business objectives.

What will I be doing?

  • Be a driving force as part of the senior leadership team using HR strategy and analytics to support business objectives.
  • Partner with the Leadership team to positively impact engagement and retention rates.
  • Coaching and develop senior and operational leaders in performance management.
  • Drive the delivery of a first-class HR service.
  • Work collaboratively with central HR functions conducting hotel talent reviews.
  • Take ownership for local attraction initiatives/projects.
  • Drive the delivery and communication of new HR initiatives, policy and procedures.
  • Champion and maintain an effective communication strategy for employees.
  • Drive the employee lifecycle including attraction, recruitment, onboarding, appreciation, recognition and career journey.
  • Foster a culture that encourages personal development goals.
  • Lead the Learning and Development agenda with the support of the Training Manager.

What are we looking for?

  • HR Generalist background with proven business partnering experience.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills.
  • Agile and driven to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to show compassion, fairness and drive a culture of engagement and wellbeing.
  • CIPD qualified is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in hospitality preferred but experience in travel or retail would be considered.
