As a Volunteer Social Media Officer, you’ll help shape and deliver our social media strategy to grow awareness, engagement, and our community. You’ll create content, manage channels, and support fundraising and advocacy campaigns. This is a voluntary, unpaid role requiring a few hours per week.
Your work will help now-u reach more people, build a stronger online community, and raise awareness of the social and environmental causes we support. By improving our social media presence, you’ll directly support our advocacy, fundraising, and long-term impact.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone with experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content for an organisation or brand. You should be confident using platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok, have strong writing skills, and enjoy building and engaging online communities. You’ll be organised, reliable, and happy to work collaboratively in a small volunteer team. An interest in social impact and a proactive, creative approach are important.
What will you be doing?
As a Volunteer Social Media Officer, you’ll help plan and deliver our social media activity. This includes creating and scheduling content, managing our social channels, maintaining a content calendar, and working with the Marketing Lead to grow engagement and keep our messaging consistent.
