Now Education is delighted to be recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Primary SEND Teacher to join a SEND School on a maternity cover contract starting September 2026. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a supportive and nurturing school environment, working with pupils who require additional support to reach their full potential. Our partner school is a well-established and inclusive primary SEND setting, supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex needs, including associated behaviours. The school is known for its strong, supportive staff team and commitment to providing a structured, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEND needs
  • Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working closely with support staff, SENCO, and external professionals
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Have experience working within a primary SEND setting
