We are currently recruiting a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner for a long-term supply position at a welcoming and supportive nursery based in Salford.

Hours: 36 hours per week Monday to Friday – 4 full days and 1 half day

Pay Rate: £16.77 per hour

About the Role: This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified early years professional to join a friendly nursery team and support the care, learning, and development of young children in line with the EYFS framework. You will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities
  • Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS
  • Observing, assessing, and supporting children's individual needs
  • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging nursery environment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and following safeguarding procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (essential)
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • A caring, reliable, and proactive approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
